Clown dan Jester Menurut Wikipedia..

Dear Readers...

A jester, joker, jokester, fool, wit-cracker, prankster, or buffoon is a member of a profession that came into popularity in the Middle Ages. Jesters are always thought to have worn brightly colored clothes and eccentric hats in a motley pattern. Their hats, sometimes called the cap ’n’ bells, cockscomb (obsolete coxcomb), were especially distinctive; made of cloth, they were floppy with three points (liliripes) each of which had a jingle bell at the end. The three points of the hat represent the donkey's ears and tail worn by jesters in earlier times. Other things distinctive about the jester were his laughter and his mock scepter, known as a bauble or maharoof.

Scholars including David Carlyon have cast doubt on the "daring political jester," calling historical tales "apocryphal," and concluding that "popular culture embraces a sentimental image of the clown; writers reproduce that sentimentality in the jester, and academics in the Trickster," but it "falters as analysis." oooh ternyata Jester seperti itu ya...
Sekarang, bagaimana dengan clown?
cari lagi ah.. di Wikipedia dong ^_^

Clowns are comic performers, stereotypically characterized by their grotesque appearance: colored wigs, stylistic makeup, outlandish costumes, unusually large footwear, etc., who entertain spectators by acting in a ridiculous fashion. Types of their acts vary greatly.

Clowns are found in cultures of any time and place, because they meet some deeply rooted needs in humanity: violation of taboos, the mockery of sacred and profane authorities and symbols, reversal of language and action, and a ubiquitous obscenity.[1] An interesting example can be found in the Native American clown societies.

ya.. ya..

dengan ini aku jadi lebih mengerti makna dari jobku sendiri ^_^

setelah ini kututup notebookku, keluar dari bar, dan pulang ke Lime~
